INVICTA CLASS OF 2018 Sets LAUTECH on fire with LOGOUT WEEK
It was a decision to make a parting statement and they did made a statement. The final year students of Ladoke Akintola University Technology (LAUTECH) put together a parting show that will not be forgotten in a long time. The event was tagged “INVICTA CLASS OF 2018 LOGOUT CEREMONY”
The University played host to a number of dignitaries like Hon. Shina Peller, Debo Olowu, Shola Animashaun, Rt. Hon. Adeniyi Saleem, Woli Arole, Sandra Ajaja, Asiri Comedy and other guests all whom were well received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Michael Ologunde.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ologunde in his remarks, thanked the invited guests for taking out time off their busy schedule to grace the occasion. He lauded them for their great exploits in various fields and urged students, especially the graduating set to emulate them and be good ambassadors of LAUTECH when they leave. He thereafter presented awards of excellence to them.
The CLASS of 2018 Logout ceremony, a 3-week fully packed series of events kicked off with the press conference on the 22nd of July. It was well planned and executed by the INVICTA CEC led by the Chairman; Adeniyi Tobi Isaac popularly known as Remybellz, (H2O) and Secretary; Tunji Michael Fatoki (TMF).
The final week of the Logout Ceremony featured several events including:
Monday 5th August - Back To School
Tuesday 6th August - Corporate/Denim/ Alumni Induction
Wednesday 7th August - Cultural Day.
Thursday 8th August - Sign Out Day
Friday 9th August - Jersey Day/ Final Match/ Community Health Service.
The INVICTA CEC used the medium to congratulate the CLASS OF 2018 graduating set. They also appreciated the efforts of everyone that made the logout ceremony a historical one. Their special thanks were to the school management under the leadership of Prof. Micheal Olufisayo Ologunde, The Ag. Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Azeem Ige, our invited guest speakers, the graduating set and the student community.
